Le Journal de Montréal is the largest circulation French-language newspaper in North America.
Consciously modeled after the British tabloid, the Journal has become synonymous with shock journalism: taking the lead and creating the news through sensationalist polls, investigative reporting and notorious columnists. Often exceeding 240 pages with numerous supplements, the Journal sets new standards for over the top tabloid content and design. It often sets the tone for media, public, and political debate.
During the last two years I was a front page designer often for the mammoth Friday and Saturday editions. At various times I have designed the fronts of the supplements including the entertainment supplement Weekend, as well as, Tourism and Home.
